A month?! It's been a month since I posted anything on here? Where in the world did November go? All I know is the monster tag pictures need to move down at LEAST one post! And a new blog background would be nice. It doesn't feel very "fall-ish" anymore. I am hoping we can get some family pictures taken this week. It all depends on if we ever get to see Tory around here. He's off to work at 6:45 am and doesn't come home until midnight. I feel like a single parent. But I'm thankful for all he does for us. He's working on an extra job turning an old garage into a finished room for someone down in Mansfield. I just got a call from him and he's working away. It will be nice to have him home again. We miss seeing him around here.
I did manage to get some Christmas music playing on here. That's one step in the right direction. Not that it's not festive around here. We have our tree up and Christmas decorations up for the most part. Inside and outside. We started working on it the day after Thanksgiving. I'm still debating on whether to put up any of my villages this year. I don't know. For some reason I thought as children got older they would learn to be more careful with things but each year it seems like more and more things get broken. I can't say it's really the older kids that do it. Maybe it's the rougher play? Or the greater number of children? Or the fact we have an almost 2 year old in the house? I don't know but after my little Fall village was turned to a handful of pieces to be sifted through and glued back together...I'm thinking I might have to take a break on my Bethlehem and Christmas Town villages. I didn't even put up some of my more fragile ornaments that I've had since I was a child. And boy was I glad as I saw a stuffed monkey go flying into the tree tonight. Maybe it's because 4 out of 5 of my children are boys? It's a mystery. But it's probably safer to keep the special things put away so that we can all relax a little more and enjoy what we do have out.
So until I find a good time to post about some of the things we did during November I'll leave you with this cute picture of a tired little Beckham:
Because I think we all agree that the monster tag picture has got to go!
